Over $255,000 Awarded to GSRMA Members
At the May 13, 2015 Board Meeting, the GSRMA Board of Directors approved the 2014/15 Loss Prevention Incentive Program (LPIP) Awards. The LPIP was created to provide GSRMA members with an incentive to develop, implement and maintain safety and loss prevention programs. The development of safety and loss prevention programs assist members in the reduction of claims and losses. Members can receive up to 10% of their annual contribution (maximum of $50,000) based on qualifications.
This year 41 GSRMA member agencies earned awards totaling $255,422. Shasta Fire Protection District, Murrieta Valley Cemetery District, Nevada Cemetery District, Northshore Fire Protection District, Oroville Cemetery District, Pliocene Ridge Community Services District, Porterville Cemetery District, Rancho Murieta Community Services District, Reclamation District 784, Sacramento Area Council of Governments, Selma Cemetery District, Siskiyou County Service Area #4, Sutter Cemetery District, Sylvan Cemetery District, Tehama-Colusa Canal Authority, Visalia Cemetery District, Williams Fire Protection Authority, Willows Unified School District, and Yolo Fire Protection District.

We have made a few revisions to the applications for the 2015/16 program year. The 2015/16 LPIP applications are available for review on our website at http://gsrma.org/resources/loss-prevention-services/. We have separated the LPIP into three applications to better accommodate the diversity of our member agencies: cemetery districts, fire districts, and the general application for the remaining member agencies.
