Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in partnership with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) have partnered to revise their Small Business Safety and Health Handbook. This handbook highlights the benefits of implementing an effective safety and health program. Included in the book are a series of a checklists that employers can use to identify workplace hazards. Some of the checklists include:
- Fire Protection
- Hazard Communication (Hazcom)
- Permit-required confined space
- Respiratory Pertection
- Walking-working Surface
