  • Provide members the most comprehensive coverage available, while serving as a trusted guide and reliable support when a loss occurs.
  • Provide all services in the most efficient and cost-effective manner to keep rates as low as possible.

Services Available to GSRMA Member Agencies at No Cost

Contractual Risk Transfer

Contracts are one of the most powerful tools public agencies have to manage risk, but only when the insurance requirements are written clearly and verified properly. The Insurance Requirements in Contracts (IRIC) Manual provides practical guidance to help agencies set appropriate coverage standards for vendors, contractors, and service providers. If you’ve ever wondered whether your contract insurance language is truly protecting your organization, this resource is worth a look.  Have a question - reach out to GSRMA at certs@gsrma.org or call us at (530) 934-5633.

Disclaimer: This information is provided for general guidance only; agencies should consult with their legal counsel before implementing contract insurance requirements.

  • Read the full article to learn how the IRIC Manual can help simplify and strengthen your contract risk transfer practices.
  • Watch this Zoom webinar on the usage and updates of the IRIC Manual, presented by Alliant's Marcus Beverly (download PPT presentation).

This program replaces the Loss Prevention Incentive Plan (LPIP) with a best practices emphasis where accreditation is possible.
