The 16^th Annual GSRMA Training Conference is a wrap, and after a 2 year hiatus due to COVID-19, we have to say it went off without a hitch! All of the GSRMA Staff were so grateful to get to see and interact with our members again in person, and it was very apparent our member agencies enjoyed this opportunity as well.

The conference was well attended with over 100 attendees on both Thursday and Friday, and 119 individuals in total, not counting the 20+ GSRMA Staff, our presenters or vendors! 49 total agencies attended – 20 cemetery districts, 10 special districts, 10 city/county, 5 fire districts, and 4 school districts! Attendees included 43 board members, 35 managers, 18 supervisors, 21 staff, and 2 attorneys.

We would like to give a huge thanks to our presenters including Paul Krismer, Patrick Corcoran (Cal/OSHA), Derek Haynes & Dylan de Wit (Porter Scott Attorneys), Anne Branham (Best Best & Krieger LLP), and Karen O’Neil (Kirk & Simas).

Also, we would like to thank our vendors including Baker Supply & Repairs, CalTRUST, PRISM, Porter Scott Attorneys, and WeTip.

Finally, more than anything, we want to thank all of you for making this possible. After having to plan and cancel two conferences, to say staff was a bit nervous coming up to this event would be an understatement. But, thanks to all of you, we had a great turn out and we could not appreciate it more. We do want to remind you to SAVE THE DATE for next years conference which will be held again at Rolling Hills Resort & Casino on October 19^th & 20^th, 2023.
