GSRMA is currently seeking nominations for our board openings for both Fire Districts and Special Districts. Board terms are two years, with the term beginning at the start of the 23-24 fiscal year and running thru the 24-25 fiscal year (July 1, 2023-June 30th, 2025).

There are several benefits to districts who’s nomination is selected, including:

• Board members have a say and vote on every issue affecting GSRMA
• Board members have a direct say on rates, distribution of dividends, and more
• Board members and their districts are eligible for up to an additional $5,000 annually for training reimbursements
  • This could be conferences, hosting trainings, getting trainers to your district, and more!
  • Fire: this could be the low-angle rescue training you’ve been putting off to cost

Any board member of a GSRMA district is eligible (fire and special districts, this year). If your district would like to apply, please just let us know in writing, either by email or hardcopy. Applications are due on December 19, 2022.
